Tottenham fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are frustrated with their star after the Daily Mail revealed that Hugo Lloris is open to a move to Manchester United as the Frenchman keeps a close eye on David De Gea’s future.
With United’s current number one, De Gea, looking certain to join Real Madrid this summer, Lloris is determined to make himself the top candidate to replace him.
The 28-year-old is keen on playing Champions League football again after Spurs missed out on the top four this season.
It is believed that Louis van Gaal has Lloris on his short list but the French international is amongst a selection of other top keepers.
And punters in the Tavern believe the Red Devils could be put off of a move for Lloris because Daniel Levy could set a sky high price tag.
And if van Gaal has a different target who is much easier to sign, then he will most likely pursue that target instead.
