Tottenham Hotspur are expected to make movements in the January transfer window and make additions to their squad.
It is well documented that Spurs failed to do any business in the summer in regards to strengthening their side.
And, with the number of injuries that have happened over the course of the first couple of months, it is felt that Mauricio Pochettino’s side will need to make additions in certain areas if they are to continue to mount a challenge for silverware this season.
The midfield is thought to be an area of concern for the Argentine, with the likes of Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele’s futures uncertain, whilst they have also been struck with absences through injury as well.
However, it appears that Pochettino has given the green light to one potential signing this January to help improve that area.
The 20-year-old has turned into a star for the Ukrainian outfit and has become one of Europe’s most attractive prospects recently.
Competition is thought to be fierce for the midfielder, however, Tottenham are understood to be some way down the line in brokering a deal for the player.
First and foremost, Tottenham will need to add to their squad in the January transfer window, as they look thin in places and do not look to be a side that will be able to compete for the duration of the season.
Tsyhankov is an excellent midfielder with an attacking presence and would certainly be considered to be a great signing for Spurs to make and boost their threat in the final third, as he has netted 25 goals in just over 70 games for Dynamo Kiev.
It remains to be seen if they can get a deal over the line for the Ukrainian, and if they decide to go for anyone else in January, but it is likely Pochettino’s side will be extremely active this winter.
