Tottenham Hotspur managed to turn things around at Wembley Stadium last night as they came from 1-0 down to eventually win 2-1, thanks to a late goal from Fernando Llorente.
The Lilywhites will need to strengthen if they are to chase down Manchester City in Harry Kane and Dele Alli’s absence, with the gap now only two points after their defeat against Newcastle United.
Although, it appears as if Mauricio Pochettino is still looking to secure a deal before the transfer deadline, as according to Sport (via Metro), Tottenham Hotspur are poised to make an offer for Adrien Rabiot.
Spurs are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain’s Adrien Rabiot.
Interestingly, it’s believed that PSG want to offload the France international this month, otherwise they’ll lose him for nothing in the summer. This is thought to have prompted Spurs to make an approach over a possible deal.
And, Liverpool have also made contact, with both Spurs and the Reds leading the race.
However, Rabiot has little interest in moving this month, despite Spurs being poised to make an offer.
Adrien Rabiot has the ability to take Spurs’ midfield to the next level. His tackling and passing ability would help Pochettino’s side out massively, especially after losing Mousa Dembele earlier on this month.
However, it looks as if a possible move for the Frenchman is unlikely, with Rabiot having little interest in moving during the January transfer window.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
