Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to add to their squad this winter when the transfer market opens up in January.
It is well documented that Mauricio Pochettino’s side failed to add a single player to their team in the summer and their performances on the pitch are starting to show some cracks.
Spurs have already been handed two defeats this season, having been beaten by Watford and Liverpool in successive fixtures.
There are concerns in certain areas of the field and Pochettino could look to make additions to his defence to help tighten the ship.
It is being claimed the defender could be prepared to quit the Old Trafford outfit this winter, which has left Tottenham on red alert.
Jose Mourinho appears to have relegated the Ivory Coast international to the substitutes bench following their defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion and has since been used from the bench as a late change in their last two matches.
Bailly would be a great addition to Tottenham in the winter if they can convince Manchester United to sell him.
The January transfer window is notoriously hard for clubs to make signings, with teams wanting to keep their best players, however, if things do not improve for the £31.5million-rated enforcer, as per Transfermarkt, then a move could be likely.
Pochettino is known to be keen on the 24-year-old, however, with the Red Devils having failed to land Toby Alderweireld, it could be a similar story for Spurs this winter.
