Tottenham Hotspur appear to be the latest club to have taken an interest in one of the Championship’s hottest talents this season.
According to a report by TeamTALK, Spurs look set to join the race for Birmingham City ace Che Adams after his impressive displays for the Blues.
The 22-year-old, who is valued at £2.25million by Transfermarkt, has hit 19 goals so far as Garry Monks side look to climb up the table.
However, Birmingham are understood to be resigned to losing their star in the summer, with it being claimed they will allow him to join a Premier League club in the summer.
It is understood they will demand a transfer fee in the region of £20m to take him away from St. Andrew’s, whilst Spurs will have plenty of competition to sign him.
TeamTALK have claimed Everton, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United have all joined Tottenham in the race for him, with The Daily Mirror having originally reported that the likes of Manchester United, Celtic, Arsenal and Watford had all scouted him beforehand.
Adams is clearly a man in demand this summer and it would be hard to argue against y of the interest surrounding him.
The forward was believed to have been the subject of plenty of interest in the January transfer window, however, Birmingham held out as they knew they would not have been in a position to replace him.
Still only 22-years-old, Adams has plenty of time to continue his development and get better and guidance under Mauricio Pochettino and the likes of Harry Kane at Tottenham could be exactly what he needs to take him to the next level.
