Tottenham Hotspur’s defeat to Barcelona on Wednesday night will have highlighted the need for new additions.
Spurs were without several key players for the game against the Catalan giants in their Champions League fixture and were undone by Lionel Messi and co.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side failed to add a single player to their squad this summer and it remains to be seen if they will make acquisitions in January, a period where it is notoriously difficult to make signings.
Pochettino’s side will be able to watch the Mexico international up close and in person in three weeks when they meet in the Champions League.
The Eredivisie outfit know the winger will have plenty of suitors in the summer and are thought to be preparing themselves for offers in the summer.
Bringing Lozano to Tottenham would be an excellent move and one that the club will feel needs to happen.
The Mexico international has an outstanding record for the Dutch side and had an impressive World Cup campaign with his country.
Spurs have a brilliant track-record when taking players from the Eredivisie, barring a flopped move for Vincent Janssen, and will be hopeful they can add Lozano to that list.
