Tottenham Hotspur managed to return to winning ways prior to the international break as they secured all three points against Cardiff City at Wembley Stadium.
The Lilywhites remain in the race for the Premier League title after a run of promising results, with Harry Kane already finding his feet and banging in the goals. And, it appears as if they’re eyeing a potential addition, as according to the Sun on Sunday (14/10; page 61) (via HITC), Spurs have been scouting West Brom’s Oliver Burke.
West Bromwich Albion are willing to consider selling Oliver Burke, with the likes of Spurs and Newcastle United sending scouts to have a look at the 21-year-old.
Burke barely featured as West Brom were relegated from the Premier League, and he has made just one substitute appearance in the Championship this season.
Mauricio Pochettino has developed a number of young players during his time in North London, so there’s no reason as to why he can’t work his wonders once again.
Oliver Burke has plenty of potential still yet to be unlocked but he just hasn’t been given enough time on the pitch in the first team to reap the rewards.
So, a move to the Premier League could be in the offing with Spurs keeping tabs on the winger ahead of a potential swoop at some point in the future.
