Tottenham line up £100M raid for Dutch duo

Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be turning their attention to the transfer window once again and could be prepared to make another raid on the Eredivisie.

Spurs have been rather successful when taking players from Holland, with the likes of Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Davinson Sanchez having all arrived and playing key roles for the side.

Vincent Janssen was also acquired from the Netherlands but he did not make the expected impact that Mauricio Pochettino and his team would have hoped for.

However, that does not appear to have put Spurs off from visiting that market once again, as a report by TeamTALK claims that they are ready to raid PSV Eindhoven.

It is understood that Pochettino has Steven Bergwijn and Jorrit Hendrix on their wishlist, although it could cost them in the region of £100million to bring them to north London.

The Verdict:

The duo have both been starring for the Eredivisie side as they currently sit top of the table.

Bergwijn is a pacy winger that can also play as a front man and has the ability to score goals, whilst Hendrix is a holding midfielder that could help to replace Mousa Dembele, should he decide to leave.

However, with £100m thought to be needed to be forked out on the pair, it remains to be seen if Spurs will splash out on them, given that they do not like to spend huge amounts unnecessarily.
