Tottenham looking to offload trio before transfer deadline

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to offload a number of their fringe players before the end of the transfer window this Friday.

According to a report by The Daily Telegraph, Spurs are open to letting the likes of Moussa Sissoko, Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Josh Onomah depart from north London this summer.

It is claimed that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are prepared to consider loan deals for all three, should they fail to land permanent deals for the first two names.

Onomah spent last season on loan with Aston Villa in the Championship and it is expected that he could make a move back to the division this summer, although a club has not yet been specified.

N’Koudou has been linked with a switch away from Tottenham for a while, with clubs in Germany and France thought to be considering a move for the misfit, however, an offer is yet to have been made for the 23-year-old.

Sissoko has struggled at White Hart Lane following his big-money move from Newcastle United, and despite appearing to be a favourite with Pochettino, it appears the club are ready to take a loss on him and are preparing to move him on.

The Verdict:

It is no real surprise that Tottenham are looking to offload the trio as they will have no real impact at Spurs this season.

Sissoko, who featured for the club in their season opener against his former club, struggled and has not since been seen in the side, whilst N’Koudou’s time in north London appears to have been up for a while.

Onomah may still have a future at the club, although Pochettino is keen to see him develop in the Championship and get him playing regular football at a competitive level to see how well progresses.
