Tottenham man sends motivating message to Spurs fans ahead of important Dortmund clash

The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to their side’s clash with Borussia Dortmund this evening. Following their disappointing loss to Arsenal, they’re keen to turn things around in the Champions League, which is a competition that they’ve done very well in over the last few months.

Ahead of the game, midfielder Moussa Sissoko has sent a message to the Tottenham faithful that is sure to give them a bit of optimism. Taking to Twitter, the Frenchman said: “We go again tomorrow night against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League”.

Sissoko is, of course, referring to their side’s poor performance at the weekend, signalling that the side have not given up and are ready to make things right against the German giants. It’s a big game, of course, as a win will see them through to the next Champions League round as group leaders.

A good performance is important for more than just the desire for more points. They need to get their poor display at the weekend out of their minds as they look to bounce back quickly, and another loss could see their confidence spiral out of control. A win, however, will do the opposite.

It’s not going to be easy, of course, but this is a very important game for the club for a number of reasons.

Landlord’s Verdict

Sissoko’s place in the first team has been safe for much of the campaign, and he has delivered a few excellent performances along the way.

Whether he starts tonight is a different topic entirely, but one thing is certain: he and his team are more than ready for the challenge at hand.
