Tottenham must land this £58.5m-rated outcast from Premier League rivals this summer

Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern know that fate is in their hands with the Lilywhites on the verge of a top-four finish to secure Champions League football again next season.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men were knocked out by Juventus in the round of 16 after navigating a tough group containing both Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid. Spurs were also recently knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester United meaning it will be another trophyless season in North London.

The Argentine needs backing in the transfer market if they are to challenge Manchester City for the title next season. Pace needs to be added to their front line that could turn them into real contenders in the league.

One man who could be facing a summer exit is Manchester United winger – Anthony Martial. The French forward has never really got going since making a £58m move from Monaco back in 2015. He has made 29 appearances in the Premier League, scoring nine goals but his future is uncertain. Reports in The Telegraph have suggested the forward will seek a summer exit due to a lack of playing time.

Tottenham could be the perfect destination for Martial who is valued at £58.5m by Transfermarkt. The French international would be a real coup for the Lilywhites and would weaken a Premier League rival. Martial is still only 22-years-old, and Pochettino has a reputation for developing young players into world-class stars.

The former Monaco man was once considered a candidate to win the Ballon d’Or in the future. Wembley could be the place to do just that.

Tottenham fans, would you like to see your club sign Anthony Martial? Let us know!
