Tottenham need to agree major January transfer for the good of the club – Agreed?

Lilywhites fans here in the Tavern are growing in concern over their sides top 4 hopes, having accumulated only 1 point from their last four outings. Although he’s proved himself as one of the shining lights in Premier League coaching, Mauricio Pochettino has suffered a couple setbacks in recent times. Namely to do with Danny Rose.

Indeed, his progression has come on leaps and bounds since earning a regular place in the side back in 2014, but over the past couple of seasons, he’s really begun to rocket himself up to the level of the Premier League’s best defenders.

However, after Pochettino decided to leave the left-back out of the match-day squad in their 2-0 defeat to rivals Arsenal, Rose became angered at the gaffer’s decision-making which has caused for the defender to be pushed ever closer to a Wembley exit.

Manchester United have recently been linked to acquiring the services of the Tottenham left-back for a staggering £50 million, with Jose Mourinho looking to the wing-back position as an area to strengthen. Due to the Lilywhites recent form and the current player-manager relationship, a move to Manchester is looking like becoming a reality.

As rivals in the chase for a top 4 position, strengthening the Red Devils with one of your strongest defenders could be subject to a whole load of criticism in the form of dampening your hopes of catching them, yet a healthy sum of money could go a long way to improving the overall outlook of this Tottenham side.

Therefore, with his future hanging in the wind, would you sell Rose to a rival for £50 million?
