Vincent Janssen has truly struggled during his time at Tottenham Hotspur.
The Holland international forward arrived at Spurs in the summer of 2016 when Mauricio Pochettino splashed out £19.89million, per Transfermarkt, to bring him from AZ Alkmaar.
He failed to get going with the Premier League outfit and was sent out on loan to Fenerbahce, where he did not manage to cover himself in any glory either.
However, according to a report, it appears he could be on his way back to Istanbul.
Fotospor are claiming Tottenham have offered the 24-year-old to Galatasaray on a loan deal until the end of the season and have presented the Turkish club with his medical reports.
It is understood Spurs are desperate to offload Janssen and may have been given a boost as Faith Terim is thought to have given his approval over the player.
Janssen’s future at Tottenham has long been over and with the current situation the club are going through in terms of injuries only further highlights that fact.
The 24-year-old remains frozen out of Pochettino’s plans despite the injuries Spurs have had to key players over the past few weeks and months.
With Terim thought to have given his approval to bringing the striker to Istanbul, Tottenham may finally be able to offload him this January.
