Tottenham Hotspur will need to seek immediate improvements if they are to stand any chance of clawing their way back into the Premier League title race.
Spurs were dominant throughout the month of December, so they won’t be too bothered about their recent result against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Although, it appears as if they could wave goodbye to one of their first-team players this month, as according to the Daily Mail, Tottenham are open to offers for Victor Wanyama.
Interestingly, the North London club are open to offers for Wanyama and West Bromwich Albion are just one of the clubs interested in securing his services.
The Kenyan international has struggled to work his way into Mauricio Pochettino’s plans in the current campaign, with the likes of Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko and Oliver Skipp currently ahead of him in the pecking order.
So, with Spurs open to offers, it looks as if they could wave goodbye to him this month.
Victor Wanyama, who is valued at £22.5 million (by Transfermarkt), hasn’t been able to force an issue in the current campaign, which has pushed him towards a likely exit at some point in the January transfer window.
Indeed, the midfielder wants to fight for his place in North London but a January move looks more likely as Spurs are open to offers, with a number of clubs already interested.
