Tottenham prepare new deal for star as Man United eye swoop

Harry KanemdTottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern have all their fingers and toes crossed, as they pray the latest piece of gossip will end a long transfer saga concerning their side.

Squawka state that the North London outfit are set to table a £100k-a-week offer to Harry Kane, in an attempt to fend off the interest of Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.

Kane enjoyed a tremendous season with Spurs this term, as they fought Leicester City for Premier League glory, and the 22-year-old finished the season as top scorer in the division.

Understandably, this form has attracted some of the bigger sides in Europe and United have held long-term interest in the player, specifically as they’re looking to bolster their own attacking options and want to boast the best English talents.

Fortunately for Spurs, reports indicate that Kane is close to agreeing a deal but will wait until after the European Championships to put pen to paper.
