Tottenham prepared to offload Vincent Jannsen but with a catch

Tottenham Hotspur have yet to make any additions in the transfer window this summer, despite Mauricio Pochettino’s desire to strengthen his squad.

The Argentine knows that he needs to bring in a couple of new faces in order for Spurs to be able to remain competitive and challenge across all the competitions that they are involved in.

The White Hart Lane have been linked with a number of players so far, however, Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish looks to be the only one on the verge of being anywhere near to being a Tottenham player next season.

One man that may not be is Vincent Janssen, as reports in Turkey are claiming that Spurs are prepared to loan the striker back to Fenerbahce next season, however, there is a catch.

According to Aksam, the media outlet are stating that the Premier League side are happy to offload him initially for nothing, however, it is believed they will only do it under the condition that the Super Lig side sign him at the end of the deal next summer.

The Verdict:

It is clear that the Dutchman does not have a future at White Hart Lane and is desperate to leave the club this summer, however, there could be a problem with him returning back to Turkey.

He did not have the best of seasons at Fenerbahce but they are keen on bringing him back to Istanbul, however, there is some concern about the deal being proposed.

The Turkish side are not happy with the terms proposed, as they do not want to be forced into the decision that they will have to purchase Janssen at the end of the temporary arrangement.
