The links surrounding Tottenham Hotspur and Joachim Andersen do not appear to be going anywhere for the moment.
Just last week, the Calciomercato had claimed that Spurs were in ‘pole position’ to land Andersen in the summer.
And, it appears that the same media outlet are adding further fuel to the fire as they claim ‘an offer is on the table’ for the Denmark international.
It is understood that talks have already been held between Sampdoria’s vice-president Antonio Romei and Spurs about a possible transfer, with a figure of €25million being claimed.
However, Inter Milan are also understood to be very keen on the 22-year-old as he has continued to impress with his performances in Serie A.
Tottenham are believed to be in the market this summer for a new defender, with the likes of Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen’s futures thought to be in the air and a player like Andersen could be the exact type of player Mauricio Pochettino would enjoy having in his squad.
The Denmark international has a number of traits that the Argentine would like, with the player being comfortable with the ball and appears to be able to make some excellent passes from out the back.
However, with interest from the likes of Inter Milan, whether Spurs will be able to bring a deal across the line in the summer remains to be seen and more stories surrounding a potential transfer will likely emerge throughout the next few months.
