Tottenham really need to kickstart a frustrating summer by landing these two players

Monday marked the first day of pre-season training for Tottenham with the club still yet to sign a player this summer, and a handful of Spurs fans here in the Transfer Tavern are getting sweaty palms. 

Pochettino has two weeks to prepare his side for their pre-season tour of the United States on July 19.

The Argentine says he will hand out minutes to Spurs’ youngsters including Harry Winks, Kyle Walker-Peters and Josh Onomah.

That’s all well and good, but Spurs fans here in the Tavern are starting to get frustrated with the lack of transfer activity down at their club.

The side that comfortably finished second last season will spend this season at Wembley as it becomes their temporary home for a year.

Wembley – a ground where Spurs have lost six out of their last nine matches.

It’s far from doom and gloom, but Tottenham need an injection of fresh competition to get their fans excited again.
