Tottenham remain keen on La Masia graduate, Pochettino could make summer move

The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate to see Mauricio Pochettino upgrade his offensive options this summer…

Vincent Janssen’s tenure has been nothing short of a disaster this season, having failed to adequately deputise for Harry Kane when called upon, and it seems clear that Pochettino simply must sign a replacement.

Antonio Sanabria could well be the man touted as such, with the Express reporting that Tottenham could reignite their interest in the forward.

Indeed, Sanabria would certainly come with an interesting resume – having graduated from Barcelona’s La Masia academy and having since played for clubs including Roma and Real Betis.

The fact that he didn’t really feature for Barcelona following his promotion from the youth team is concerning the Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern, though our landlord has been quick to remind them that players including Arsenal ace Hector Bellerin have also slipped through the net – meaning that Sanabria shouldn’t be discounted just on that fact.

Sanabria has scored 4 La Liga goals this season.

Tottenham fans – thoughts? Should they sign him?
