Barcelona are usually keen in incorporate buy-back clauses into their top young players’ contracts when they depart the Nou Camp, such as the £6 million clause inserted into Gerard Deulofeu’s contract at Everton.
However, with the Spanish giants now reportedly looking to offload the 20-year old, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is set to increase his determination to bring the Spaniard to White Hart Lane before the deadline in a fortnight.
Despite their willingness to sell their striker, should Barca fail to accept the absence of a buy-back clause, Spurs would have the option of paying Sandro’s £9 million release clause, which would prevent the Spanish outfit from inserting one.
With the sheer amount of quality ahead of him, including Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, Sandro has managed just four La Liga starts this term.
Our landlord believes that a move to Spurs would be a good move for the youngster as Pochettino is desperate to recruit a new goalscorer, with his side otherwise relying solely on Harry Kane.
