Tottenham scouting Marcus Thuram

Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be one of a number of clubs tracking an exciting prospect.

According to a report by The Sun, Spurs are believed to be monitoring Marcus Thuram after an impressive season for Guingamp.

The son of Lilian Thuram, the 21-year-old has hit 10 goals in 17 appearances for the Ligue One outfit, which has attracted Arsenal and Manchester United as well.

It is understood the three sides all sent scouts to watch the player in action against Saint-Etienne on Saturday and earned praise for his performance despite a 1-0 defeat.

Tottenham do not have any real concerns being able to find the back of the net at the moment, with the likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.

The Verdict:

Thuram is certainly a player in the making and could earn himself a great reputation in his own right.

Tottenham will likely keep tabs on the 21-year-old as he will likely look to improve further, although they could have some stern competition for him in the future.

With the futures of Vincent Jansson and Fernando Llorente up in doubt, Spurs could look to try and bring a striker to the club, however, whether they make a move in January or the summer remains to be seen.
