Tottenham see £17m bid rejected

guarin.jpgTottenham fans are looking disappointed here in the Football Transfer Tavern as it is claimed by the Daily Mail that the club have seen a £17 million bid rejected for one of their top targets.

Andre Villas-Boas is thought to be chasing Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin and has gone as far as making a large bid for the player he thinks could not only convince Gareth Bale to stay for at least another year but also strengthen his side in the race for a top four place next season and finally that elusive Champions League football.

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti claimed that Spurs were interested in the player and noted that: “They are really interested.”

Andre Villas-Boas of course has several targets in mind this summer and whilst fans are waiting for news on the future of their star man, they are also keen to see at least a couple more players arrive at the North London club – most of all a forward and are also preparing for somewhat of an exodus to boot.

Should Tottenham revisit their interest in Guarin? Rate this rumour below.
