Tottenham have had a blinding start to the campaign, but every season, their team has an element of unpredictably and that remains the case so far.
Mauricio Pochettino is constantly spoken about as a top manager but his team have often failed to deliver when it comes down to the crucial parts of the season. Tottenham are one of the best up and coming team in England and it is definitely a question of when they first bring in some more silverware.
To help with their trophy charge this season, Spurs have to spend some money in January and recruit players who could generally have an important impact on their season and a midfielder like Pablo Fornals fits the bill as someone who could do just that.
Fornals, (who is valued at £22.5 million on Transfermarkt) currently plays for Villarreal in Spain but after their poor start to the season, his head could be turned to more attractive teams like Tottenham. The 22-year-old has personally enjoyed playing some great football over the last few years, showing in his statistics from last season where he bagged 12 assists and three goals in La Liga action.
Of course Tottenham already have influential attacking-minded midfielders like Christian Eriksen and Dele All but what are they supposed to do if they got injured? Pablo Fornals is the definition of versatile and has the ability to play on either wing, in any midfield role and still do a great job for your team.
The Spaniard has a good bit of pace about him and certainly has the flair and trickery to beat a man and then find a team-mate to apply the finishing touches.
Should Tottenham sign Fornals… Let us know!
