Well the simple answer is because they keep failing to reach the Champions League and it’s left another player wanting out of White Hart Lane.
According to The Express, Brazilian midfielder Sandro wants to leave the capital this summer in favour of a move to Italy.
Sandro spent the majority of last season on the bench after falling out of favour with Tim Sherwood.
And the combative midfielder is not interested in winning his place back in the Tottenham starting eleven and instead he wants to leave.
He made just 17 appearances meaning that he failed to make Brazil’s 2014 World Cup squad.
Now Sandro, who had been a regular in Spurs’ midfield until this term, is keen to force a bid from interested Serie A sides Napoli and Roma.
Both have earned Champions League football next season after decent Serie A seasons and both have the financial capabilities to lure Sandro away.
Sandro arrived at White Hart Lane in 2010 from Internacional, costing Spurs around £9 million.
