Kyle Walker may have come under fire in the past couple of weeks for his off the field antics, but at least the England international defender has another part-time job to fall back on.
And judging by his performance against the Ukraine on Tuesday night, he may well need it.
Walker looked as if he had inhaled a fresh batch of nitrous oxide before his appearance at full back on Tuesday night in Kiev, and was without a doubt one of several weak links in Roy Hodgson’s side.
He has come under fire from both Hodgson and his club manager Andre Villas-Boas for being snapped inhaling the substance known as ‘hippy crack’.
Whilst Villas-Boas has no plans to drop the England man, Walker is on thin ice – and may well be forced to turn to other ways of bringing in the cash should further off field problems arise.
One way could be children’s parties. Walker could be one of those guys that comes in – perhaps in a clown outfit – and works wonders with balloons. At least that way he could also enjoy a bit of his sneaky habit on the side without getting shouted at by his bosses. Killjoys.
