Tottenham Hotspur managed to secure all three points against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium yesterday as Mauricio Pochettino’s side put in a dominant performance.
The Lilywhites will be desperate to kick on and secure a place in the top four, having come on leaps and bounds since the North London derby defeat.
Pochettino’s side have been linked with a move for the Ivory Coast international, so it comes as a big blow that another club have joined the race for the highly-rated winger.
Interestingly, it’s thought that hat 23-year-old winger Pepe caught the eye of a Wolves scout who was present at Lille’s win against Montpellier in midweek.
Spurs are currently limited for options in wide areas, so Pochettino simply has to go all out to secure the services of the attacker in the January transfer window.
Nicolas Pepe, who is valued at £22.5 million (by Transfermarkt), has all the makings to become a future star of the game, so Spurs shouldn’t hesitate to secure his services.
Pochettino will feel confident that his side can pull off a deal for the exciting winger, but Wolves have been known to beat a number of European giants to signings before, so they won’t be pushovers.
