Tottenham target another Brazilian after Willian blow

hulk.jpgTottenham fans are looking up from their pints here in the Football Transfer Tavern after Metro note that the club could be keen on making a move for Hulk after seeing bitter rivals Chelsea steal Willian.

The North London club thought that Willian would be joining them and he had even gone to the trouble of having a medical at the club before Chelsea decided to swoop in and lure the player to Stamford Bridge.

Now however, Andre Villas-Boas is not letting the loss get him down and could well be about the turn to one of his former players to make up for it.

As we all know, Spurs have spent big this summer and are keen on spending more, and should they sell Gareth Bale, they will certainly have the money to do so.

Hulk will cost them around £30 million, yet AVB is keen to make sure that the club finish in the top four this season and end up in Turin for the Europa League final to boot.

Given the club have thus far failed to score a goal in Premier League open play this season, another forward may not be a bad thing.

Hulk is keen to link up with his former Porto boss and has made no secret of his nightmare spell at Russian side Zenit St Petersburg since making the big money move from the Primeira Liga.

Will Tottenham add Hulk to their ever impressive ranks this summer? Is this transfer swoop realistic? Let us know your thoughts below.
