Tottenham Hotspur will host Wolverhampton Wanderers at Wembley Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side sit second in the Premier League table and have been in red-hot form recently.
Spurs have managed to score 11 goals in their last two games and the Argentine will be keen to see his side continue with those performances.
However, a potentially tricky contest against a Wolves side awaits them and Tottenham face an anxious wait ahead of the game.
The England international missed the game against Bournemouth on Boxing Day but managed to train and will be assessed ahead of the upcoming fixture.
Serge Aurier is fit again after overcoming a groin injury, however, the clash has come too early for the likes of Jan Vertonghen, Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele.
Tottenham have been in free-scoring form recently and will be confident that they can continue that against Wolves.
Alli’s potential return will be a huge boost to Spurs’ chances of continuing that form and will improve their chances further of picking up a positive result.
Wolves gave Pochettino’s side a tough time at the beginning of November, something the north London outfit will hope is not in store for them again.
