Tottenham Hotspur will head to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in Saturday’s late evening game in what will be a tough London Derby.
Spurs will have been buoyed by the late victory they managed to get in the Champions League in midweek and will want to continue their best ever start to a Premier League campaign at the expense of the Eagles.
Both Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama are thought to be in contention of featuring on Saturday evening, as the pair have made a return to training.
The midfielders have both been unavailable since the end of October, but with Mousa Dembele’s latest setback, their return will have come at an excellent time for Pochettino.
Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen are still unavailable, however, their recoveries are thought to be going well.
The availability of both Dier and Wanyama will be a hugely timely boost for Pochettino and Tottenham on Saturday.
Although it remains to be seen if either will be used by the Argentine, with Dembele set to spend the rest of the year on the sidelines with an ankle injury, it will help ease the manager’s concerns in the middle of the park.
The game against Palace will be a tough test for Spurs, despite the home side’s current form, but having both men available will boost the north London outfit’s chances of getting a positive result.
