Tottenham Hotspur will travel to Turf Moor on Saturday as they meet Burnley in the Premier League’s early kickoff.
With Liverpool in action against Manchester United and Manchester City taking on Chelsea in the League Cup final, Spurs have an excellent chance of closing the gap at the top of the table.
Mauricio Pochettino will know his side will be in for a tough afternoon against the Clarets, however, he will have been boosted by the news that two of his key men are available.
According to the club’s official website, both Harry Kane and Ben Davies are in contention to feature for Tottenham.
The pair had both recently been on the sidelines since last month, however, they have since returned to training and could make their matchday returns in the game at Turf Moor.
However, there are fresh doubts over Danny Rose, as the left-back will need to be assessed ahead of the match because of illness, whilst Dele Alli continues to remain unavailable with a hamstring injury.
The news that both Kane and Davies could potentially be available for the game against Burnley will be a huge double boost for Pochettino and Tottenham.
Not a lot is needed to be said about what Kane can bring to the team, although, it is not like the club have missed him too much in recent weeks.
Davies’ return may have come at an ideal moment, with Rose becoming a possible doubt for the trip due to illness.
