Tottenham Hotspur will be preparing for their Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday night.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will view the game as a must-win as they will want to keep their slim hopes of qualifying for the next stage of the tournament alive.
Spurs have only managed to pick up one point in the first half of games and with the likes of Barcelona and Inter Milan to come, they will need to get all three points against the Eredivisie outfit.
Mousa Dembele is unavailable after he was forced to withdraw in the early stages of the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend with an ankle injury, joining both Victor Wanyama and Eric Dier on the sidelines.
Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen still remain out, despite their rehabilitation progressing well, whilst Hugo Lloris will miss out through suspension after he saw red in the game in Holland.
Tottenham already had a lengthy absentee list and the addition of Dembele and Lloris will have been a blow to Pochettino.
Dembele would likely have had a key role to play for Spurs on Tuesday night if he were to be available, however, they will need to ensure they can cope without the Belgium international.
Spurs dominated the first meeting and they will look to do so once again, but they will need to be more prolific and clinical in front of goal to ensure they do not have a tense few minutes towards the end of the game.
