Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to continue their best start ever to a Premier League campaign when they meet Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Spurs are coming off the back of a defeat to Manchester City last Monday night and will want to return to winning ways, as they look to get back into the top four.
Wolves will be a tough test for the north London outfit as they have started their first year back in the top-flight and it will not have been made any easier with the absences that Tottenham have.
Victor Wanyama has become the latest concern after he was forced off in their League Cup win against West Ham United in midweek with an injury to his left knee.
Eric Dier and Danny Rose are also both unavailable for the Argentine, as the pair are expected to make a return after the international break, whilst Jan Vertonghen continues his recovery from the hamstring injury.
Despite having been a fringe player for much of the season, Wanyama’s absence could be a huge blow for Tottenham on Saturday.
With Dier unavailable as well, the Kenya international could have been a possible replacement in Pochettino’s team, however, he will now need to look elsewhere.
The England international’s absence in itself is a huge blow to Tottenham, as they will want to keep Wolves’ attacking threat at bay, especially the likes of Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho.
