Tottenham Hotspur will want to put their nightmare week of cup exits behind them when they host Watford at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday night.
Mauricio Pochettino witnessed his side beaten by Chelsea in the League Cup semi-final whilst they crashed out of the FA Cup at the weekend against Crystal Palace.
Spurs lost the previous meeting between the two sides at Vicarage Road earlier this season and will want to get retribution as they look to solidify their place in the top-four.
And, it appears Tottenham may have been handed a potentially huge boost ahead of the game at the national stadium.
According to the club’s official website, both Moussa Sissoko and Heung-Min Son are both in contention to make a return.
The French midfielder returned to training following a knee injury he sustained in the defeat to Chelsea, whilst Son has returned from international duty with South Korea.
Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Ben Davies all remain unavailable for Spurs as they continue to recover from their knocks.
The possibility of having both Sissoko and Son available will come as a huge boost to Tottenham and Pochettino.
Spurs have arguably had one of their worst weeks recently and will want to pick up the three points as they look to immediately bounce back.
Alli, Kane and Davies still being unavailable will be frustrating, but having the duo available will be more than welcomed.
