Tottenham Hotspur will meet PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday night in the Champions League as they look to get their first points of the competition.
Spurs were beaten by a late goal in their opener against Inter Milan before Lionel Messi and co destroyed them at Wembley Stadium last time out.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have now headed out to Holland to try and pick up a result against the Eredivisie outfit, in another game that will test the Premier League club.
“Christian is fit to be selected and I will decide later if he’ll start the game or start on the bench, as he did at West Ham,” he said in his press conference.
Eriksen has experience of playing Dutch sides, having spent time at Ajax before his switch to Tottenham in 2013.
However, Dele Alli, Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen all still remain unavailable for the game and have remained in England.
The news that Eriksen is available will come as a huge boost to Tottenham’s chances of getting a positive result.
The Dutch outfit would have been identified as a team that Spurs will have looked at as a must to take points from and having the Denmark international in the side will certainly help to make that happen.
Pochettino’s side create far more opportunities when Eriksen is involved and will look for the Danish playmaker to make an impact, whether it be from a starting position or from the substitutes bench.
