Metro seem to think that Tottenham Hotspur fans should be looking up with interest here in the Football Transfer Tavern.
They claim that the North London club could well be set to land one of AC Milan’s players in a cut price deal this summer.
The Lilywhites are looking to bring in a couple of players this summer and whilst one of our punters notes that this should probably be a world class forward, we think that whilst this is true, there are a couple of other areas Spurs could do with improving.
Andre Villas-Boas spent a huge amount of money in the summer after the departure of Gareth Bale, yet still got the chop, and a fair few of his signings could well be set to either be sold in the summer or have to fight for their place in the side under Tim Sherwood.
Now, AC Milan’s Guinea international midfielder Kevin Constant could well be on his way to White Hart Lane in a cut price deal that could cost the club as little as £3 million.
One of our punters who is a keen Serie A viewer notes that Constant has been playing at left back in recent times for the Italian side – and makes the point that his versatility could well come in handy.
Is this a £3 million transfer no-brainer that Spurs should rush to conclude? Let us know your thoughts below.
