Tottenham to revive failed Deadline Day swoop

PochettinoTottenham Hotspur regulars in the Transfer Tavern have perked up this evening after hearing reports that the club are set to reignite interest in one of their key targets.

They’ve been alerted to reports from Mercato365who state Mauricio Pochettino’s side failed with a Deadline Day move for Lille man Sofiane Boufal but will revive the deal over the coming weeks.

22-year-old Moroccan attacking-midfielder Boufal only moved to the French side in January but has seen his stock rise after five goals in 23 appearances.

Boufal’s versatility appeals to Spurs as he can play on either wing or through the middle, with the reports adding that Tottenham launched an unsuccessful £12m bid on the final day of the recent transfer window.

Spurs fans by the jukebox are confident that they can land their man and they’re excited to see the young side Pochettino’s is developing finally click, believing they have the capability to return to the Champions League after a long absence.
