Tottenham Hotspur are yet to really build up ahead of steam this season but they are still in with a chance of challenging for the Premier League title.
Spurs will be desperate to ensure consistency after the international break by producing a number of positive results, with competition for places beginning to hot up. Although, it appears as if Mauricio Pochettino is eyeing a potential addition, as according to The Mirror, Tottenham are eyeing Nikola Milenkovic.
The Lilywhites are interested in Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.
With doubts remaining over the future of Toby Alderweireld, Tottenham are among a number of clubs tracking the 20-year-old Serbian.
Alderweireld has just a year left on his current contract.
Spurs have an option to extend it until 2020, but a clause means the Belgium international centre-back could still leave next summer for a fee of just £25 million.
Manchester United are also believed to be tracking his progress.
Toby Alderweireld has been incredible during his time in North London but it appears as if his time in the English capital will come to an end at some point in the future.
Nikola Milenkovic has the potential to become one of the best defenders in world football and has already enjoyed international football for Serbia, so there’s no doubt that he could fill the void at the heart of the defence.
