Tottenham take on Aston Villa for the first time this season as the two teams meet under new management. The last time Andre Villas met Paul Lambert, the Portuguese manager was at London rivals Chelsea whilst Lambert was still with Norwich.
The 34 year old has since gone on to establish a very solid team, with the introduction of Vertonghen and Dembele proving bargains at a combined cost of £23 million.
Lambert on the other side has failed his dream start for the Villans, with the midlands club lying 15th in the Premier League and only managing one Premier League win this season.
His actions last week saw the former Norwich boss leave fan favourite Darren Bent on the bench, who eventually came onto the field to score the equaliser against their rivals West Brom.
The former Tottenham player is therefore set to make a return to the starting eleven with the opposition unlikely to make any changes to the team who defeated Manchester United last weekend.
Will Tottenham manage to replicate their Premier League form to overturn their opposition?
Despite looking tired in mid-week, Tottenham should have enough depth in the squad to replace the tired stars, with Sigurdsson still waiting to get his first Premier League goal in a Spurs shirt.
Prediction: 2-0 to Tottenham
