Tottenham Hotspur will be busy planning on who they want to bring to White Hart Lane next season and fans in the Transfer Tavern will be excited with the latest players they are rumoured to be interested in.
According to reports by The Mirror, Mauricio Pochettino is set to raid Serie A side SS Lazio for two of their talented assets in what could cost Spurs in excess of £100million. The media outlet are claiming both Ciro Immobile and Sergey Milinkovic-Savic are on the Argentine’s wishlist and has sent a number of scouts to watch the players in action.
It is believed Tottenham will be able to fund the deal for the two players with sales of their own, with a number of fringe men expected to depart from the Premier League side during the summer. A number of players who do not feature regularly for the side are thought to have been made available for transfers, with the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Moussa Dembele, Victor Wanyama and Danny Rose likely to move on.
Immobile and Milinkovic-Savic would both be regarded as coups for Spurs should they be able to sign them, with the forward in fine form and in the race to win Europe’s Golden Foot award for the number of goals he has scored, whilst a 23-year-old midfielder is a highly-wanted man this summer.
The Spurs fans in the Tavern will be excited that the club would be chasing players of Immobile and Milinkovic-Savic’s quality and will be hoping they can bring them in as they look to head to their new home and compete in all competitions next season.
