Tottenham Hotspur will welcome Liverpool to Wembley Stadium in the lunchtime kick-off on Saturday afternoon.
However, Mauricio Pochettino’s side could be in for an even tougher game than previously expected, as they will be without a couple of key players for the match against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Dele Alli was a player who fell victim to the international break after he picked up a hamstring injury whilst on duty with England, although no date has been specified on his return.
Hugo Lloris is another key man to have been made unavailable for the tie with Liverpool, with the goalkeeper expected to be out for several weeks with a thigh injury he picked up against Manchester United.
Moussa Sissoko is still out of contention with a hamstring issue, although he is expected to make a return to training next week.
Tottenham will have known the game against Liverpool will have been tough, however, without some of their key men available it may only be harder for Pochettino’s side to get a positive result.
Spurs will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Watford prior to the international break, whilst they may also be looking ahead to their Champions League showdown with Inter Milan on Tuesday.
Pochettino will be hoping Alli’s injury is not too serious and he will be available for the European trip, whilst Lloris will be a huge blow to Spurs.
