Tottenham won’t be sending Spurs star to AC Milan

Roberto SoldadoTottenham fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are over the moon with how Mauricio Pochettino has started life at White Hart Lane.

They want him to have a long future at the North London club and according to talkSPORT, the Argentine manager has confirmed that Roberto Soldado also has a future at the club.

Speculation is rife that the little Spaniard could be off this summer after a less than impressive debut season in the Premier League.

The 29-year old cost the club a record £26 million from Valencia when he signed last summer but managed just six Premier League goals and reports suggest that AC Milan are keen.

Soldado is yet to make an appearance this season and is unavailable for the return leg of the Europa League against AEL Limassol after sustaining a strain to his back and neck.

And Pochettino has said: “He is here but I never talk about any rumours. I don’t talk about the speculation.

“He is not in the squad because he has a problem with his neck and back. He is part of my plans for the future.”
