Georginio Wijnaldum may not be the easiest name to pronounce, though it has been one often bandied about the punters in the Transfer Tavern this summer.
The Dutchman has been strongly linked with moves away from Newcastle United following the club’s relegation into the Championship, including the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.
While the Toffees were recently reported to have made the Oranje star their top priority this summer, White Hart Lane has been strongly touted as a potential landing spot for the former PSV man.
Now, according to Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones, the 25-year old has earmarked North London as his preferred option should he leave the North East, due to the fact they can offer Champions League football.

Still, the Magpies are believed to have slapped a hefty £25m valuation on their star man and don’t appear to be dropping, meaning the deal is currently unlikely.
