4-2-3-1: This Spurs XI will dominate Sunderland on Sunday at White Hart Lane

Tottenham are beginning to click this season now, and our local Spurs fans here in Transfer Tavern are beginning to believe this could be another successful season.

After a relatively steady start to the season seeing two draws and one win things seemed to come together at Stoke on Saturday, as the club brushed aside the Potters 4-0 in a repeat performance of last season’s game at the Bet365 Stadium.

There were a lot of positives to take from the performance including Harry Kane’s return to goal-scoring form as well as Dele Alli finding the net, and Ben Davies putting in a good stand-in performance for Danny Rose at left back.

Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping his chargers continue in this fashion as they take on Sunderland this weekend.

The Black Cats have had another dire start to the campaign under new boss David Moyes so a trip to the ever-improving Spurs will not be welcome.

If Spurs approach the game how they did against Stoke it could be another emphatic victory for them, and our landlord certainly thinks that’s possible if they go with this starting line-up…
