Many Arsenal fans are laughing at The Athletic correspondent David Ornstein‘s update that filming for Tottenham Hotspur’s Amazon documentary is still going ahead despite recent outbreaks of illness across the footballing world.
Spurs are still keeping their training centre open for filming and are also operating cameras from their gallery in order to get essential pieces of footage done for the documentary to air later on in the year.
It will show highlights of the season so far as well as Mauricio Pochettino’s sacking and the appointment of Jose Mourinho. Indeed, it could also comment on Eric Dier’s situation where he raced into the crowd to confront a fan who was giving his brother a hard time following the north London club’s home loss to Norwich City on penalties in the FA Cup last-sixteen.
Spurs are currently in eighth position in the Premier League table (via BBC) and are out of all cup competitions, meaning that it will be another trophy-less season for them.
These Arsenal fans could not help themselves but react to Ornstein’s post, with one fan even branding Spurs a ‘comedy club’:
Comedy club giving us a comedy love you lads
