Arsenal & Tottenham receive transfer boost

heungminson.jpgThe Football Transfer Tavern is looking forward to seeing rivals Arsenal and Tottenham battle it out for Hamburg striker Son Heung-Min after it was reported that the South Korean international was available for transfer according to the Sky Sports.

The highly rated 20-year-old striker has turned down the chance to sign a contract extension at the German club and is now keeping his options open this summer.

Tottenham and Arsenal have been chasing the South Korean international this season and will welcome the news from Hamburg head coach Thorsten Fink that the player may be available for transfer.

Fink told Sport-BILD weekly: “If Heung-min Son is not signing a new contract and makes up his mind to definitely leave, and given a concrete offer from an interested club, then we would be forced to sell.

“In a situation like this we would be unable to do anything else as we would be unable to keep hold of him.”

Will either Arsenal or Tottenham swoop to sign the South Korean this summer? Rate this rumour below.
