Bid not yet made though increased interest in star should delight Spurs fans

Many of the Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern believe only a few tweaks here and there over the summer can make their side genuine title challengers once more.

So, with that in mind, it promises to be a very interesting summer for our north London locals indeed. If Mauricio Pochettino gets it right, our local Lillywhites could be celebrating a successful title tilt this time next year.

While discussing rumours and reports in regards to players who could arrive on Hotspur Way over the next few months is obviously more interesting from them, reports from the Daily Mail have sparked debate today.

In their transfer column, they reveal that Ligue 1 side Marseille are increasingly keen on the idea of landing flop midfielder Moussa Sissoko this summer.

The Frenchman has failed to at all convince since joining from Newcastle United last summer and is believed to be a target for Les Phocéens.

Still, the French outfit are not thought to have yet made a move for him, with the 27-year-old understood to be keen on playing more regularly to keep his World Cup dream alive.

After a miserable campaign in north London, Tottenham fans aren’t likely to be too upset.
