Club reportedly hopes to seal double deal today in Tottenham transfer report

With Tottenham Hotspur having agreed a deal for Ajax star Davinson Sanchez, the punters propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern at least have a signing to shout about.

Indeed, it’s been a painfully slow summer for Spurs thus far, though few would doubt the fact Mauricio Pochettino has one of the best starting XIs in the Premier League as it is.

So, reports from the Sun hinting at more player sales initially annoyed our local Lillywhites. However, upon some further reading, they’re getting on board.

According to their report, West Bromwich Albion are understood to be hoping to seal a £30m double swoop on Vincent Janssen and Kevin Wimmer.

Tony Pulis is reportedly aiming to seal a deal quickly as Spurs are willing to sell and the Baggies’ personal offer are thought to be rather hefty indeed. In fact, Pulis is said to be hoping to seal a move TODAY.

Though our local Spurs fans want them replaced, they’re not too worried about losing Wimmer or Janssen this summer.

Landlord’s Verdict:

It’s not worked out for either. While both players may be far better than they’ve shown in north London, if Spurs can raise £30m for them to plunge back into their own additions, it’s very good business.
