Tottenham are edging closer to becoming top four hopefuls again, despite a number of injuries setting them back currently.
With competition extremely high in the Premier League this season more than most, Tottenham are a team that many are unsure about mainly due to their lack of squad depth.
This is an issue that has cost them on multiple occasions over the years and this is because due to the amount of competitions they find themselves in, they don’t have enough quality in their squad meaning they can’t rotate as much as other teams.
Adding a rising star like Bournemouth’s David Brooks for example would give their attackers the chance to rest as he is well on his way to becoming a top player.
Brooks, (who is valued at £8.1 million on Transfermarkt) has made a sensational start to life in the Premier League, making the transition from Championship football to the top flight seem effortless.
The 21-year-old Welshman has soared two goals this season so far and with the ability to play right midfield or attacking midfield, Tottenham could develop him into another one of their shining young stars.
It’s fair to say that right this moment, Brooks would be lower down in the pecking order but if he continues to improve whilst at Bournemouth, Tottenham could eventually sign him as a ready-made player for their team.
Brooks has not been daunted one bit at the thought of consistently playing Premier League football and for such a young player, he has continued to make a real impression, and one that could lead to a club like Tottenham making a move for him.
