The Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern have been delighted to welcome the likes of Vincent Wanyama and Vincent Janssen to the club this summer.
While the North London locals wax poetic about the complexion of their squad next term, those in for an afternoon drink have been given further reason to celebrate from the Daily Telegraph.
They claim that the club are set to reward Eric Dier with a brand spanking new five-year deal at the club.
Though he joined from Sporting Lisbon two years ago, the 22-year old saw a magnificent breakout campaign last term, being utilised as a defensive midfielder.
To that end, he has become a lynchpin for both club and country, emerging as one of few England stars to leave EURO 2016 with his reputation in tact.
As a result, Bayern Munich are understood to have been casting watchful eyes over his situation at White Hart Lane.
Still, despite only signing a five-year deal last summer, the club will bump his wages up to around £70k-per-week, which would see the Three Lions star earn a cool £18.2m.
