With Tottenham Hotspur yet to make any major moves in the market, the punters propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern are eager to read as many rumours and reports as humanly possible.
Desperate for something to read about, our north London locals have been intrigued about reports emanating out of Turkey.
Indeed, according to Gunebakis, Spurs outcast Moussa Sissoko could soon leave the club, little under a year after joining. The Frenchman has failed to convince in the slightest since leaving Newcastle United for Hotspur Way for £30m and has been linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion.
However, according to this report, Trabzonspor of the Turkish Super Lig are in the final stages of negotiating a loan deal to end the 27-year-old’s nightmare. Spurs are believed to be willing to loan him out to a club in Europe, with this story even claiming a deal could be done within the next week.
While the Tottenham-mad punters were desperately hoping to see Sissoko recreate the performances he put in for Les Bleus at Euro 2016, Sissoko has been a major flop and his potential exit isn’t likely to cause too many tears.
